Special-edition model to celebrate, and more dealers to buy from

Triumph's wickedly enjoyable British bulldog, the Speed Triple, is turning 15 this year, and there's a new special-edition model of the 1050cc machine on the way.

Based on the standard machine, which underwent some minor updates for the 2008 model year, the limited-edition model also comes with a metallic black colour scheme, red pinstriped wheels, 15th anniversary decals, colour-matched bellypan and flyscreen, and a gel seat normally found in the genuine accessories catalogue.

The tank features the signature of Triumph owner John Bloor, who's normally not one to parade himself so publicly. In other words, he must be excited about this one.

Each special-edition buyer will also receive an exclusive 15th anniversary watch.

The bike is expected to hit our shores early 2009, with pricing yet to be announced.
