2012 Australian Motocross Championship - UPDATED CALENDAR

An expanded 10-round series, which will be bookended by rounds in Queensland – starting on April 1 and concluding on August 25-26

The calendar is as follows:
  • Rd1 April 1 – Conondale, Qld 
  • Rd2 April 14-15 – Coonabarabran, NSW
  • Rd3 April 28-28 – Wonthaggi, Vic
  • Rd4 May 12-13 – Wanneroo, WA
  • Rd5 May 20 – Murray Bridge, SA
  • Rd6 July 1 – Hervey Bay, Qld
  • Rd7 July 15 – Barrabool, Vic
  • Rd8 July 29 – Appin, NSW
  • Rd9 August 19 – Moree, NSW
  • Rd10 August 25-26 – Coolum, Qld
And the round formats are as follows:
  • Pro Open* -- two 10-lap motos back-to-back and a 16-lap moto (three motos per round)
  • Pro Lites* -- two seven-lap motos back-to-back and a14-lap moto (three motos per round)
  • Under 19s* -- two six-lap motos back-to-back and a 10-lap moto (three motos per round)
  • Vets 30 to 39 -- four seven-lap motos
  • Vets 40 Plus -- four six-lap motos
  • Support classes** -- three seven-lap motos
  • Pro ATV -- four seven-lap motos
* Round two (Coonabarabran) will be adjusted, according to the longer track length
** Subject to change at the promoter’s discretion, with approval of the Clerk of Course
