1198 S Corse Special Edition now on sale

As Ducati Oz announces a new ambassador

The Ducati 1198 S Corse special edition is now on sale locally, priced at $38,490.

Built to mark the introduction of a new Ducati Corse logo, the 1198 S Corse features a factory team-style aluminium fuel tank, a Corse colour scheme and race kit.

The special edition retains the 1198cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin engine, developing 167hp (125kW) and 131.4Nm, and standard-equipment electronics includes Ohlins suspension, eight-mode traction control and data analysis.

The standard 1198 S retails for $33,990.

Meanwhile, Ducati Australia has announced that last year's Bathurst 1000 winner, Will Davison, is its new ambassador.
