The recent Melbourne Motorcycle Expo saw the unveiling of the latest additions to Kymco's range, the Like 200i scooter and Naked Quannon 125.
The
retro Like 200i will join the Like 50 and Like 125 already in the Taiwanese manufacturer's scooter line-up, and is powered by a 163cc,
air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with auto CVT transmission.
Kymco says the model weighs in at 120kg, and features 12-inch alloy wheels fitted with disc brakes front and rear.
Among its
practicalities is a kick starter to back up its electric start system, a centrestand as well as a sidestand, a lockable
underseat storage box and a glovebox.
The scoot's claimed 780mm seat height should prove manageable for most, and it comes with a colour-coded topbox, flip-out
pillion footpegs, twin rear shocks and full instrumentation, the latter including digital clock.
The Naked Quannon 125, meanwhile, is the same set-up as the original Quannon 125 sports bike, but has been stripped of its bodywork to produce a naked roadster.
Available in a variety of colours, pricing details for the models, which will both be available from February, are still to be
confirmed. See your nearest
Kymco dealer for more information, and -- while we have your attention -- don't forget to enter the Bikesales Network's
Kymco competition, where one lucky reader will win themselves a Kymco Venox 250 cruiser.
