September 18, Mallory Park

Is it really approaching 20 years since Iraq first invaded Kuwait, Collingwood won its last AFL premiership, Windows 3.0 was released by Microsoft, and the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of diseases?

Yep, it is, and there is another milestone approaching: 20 years since the successful relaunch of Triumph motorcycles.

The exact day is September 18, 2010, and to celebrate the factory is planning a massive shindig at Mallory Park race circuit in Leicestershire, with factory tours scheduled to take place at its headquarters in nearby Hinckley.

Details are still being nutted out for the festival, so the best bet is to keep visiting the official event website as more information comes to hand.

But we do know Triumph Live officially begins at 9.00am on September 18, and the evening entertainment begins at 6.00pm and runs until midnight. A big-name act will be announced soon.

And we're positive there will be a few surprises at the event - perhaps it may be a baby brother for the Tiger?

At this stage, Triumph Australia has no official plans to organise a tour group to attend the event.
