First prize: a trip to Spain and Morocco

To celebrate the launch of the Multistrada 1200, Ducati has announced a worldwide photographic competition to correspond with the 'ideals' of the new all-rounder, which will go on sale locally in May starting from $22,990.

Participants are to upload four images: 'Daily life', 'Freedom', 'Adventure' and 'Adrenaline'. And you don't have to be a Ducati owner or even a motorcycle rider to enter - the competition is open to all.

The three entries that receive the highest number of public votes at 11.59pm (Italian time) on April 30, 2010 will be the winners and receive the following prizes:

First: a trip for one person in Spain and Morocco
Second: technical outfit for Multistrada 1200 consisting of jacket, pants, boots, helmet, gloves and visor.
Third: a camera Nikon D5000 + Nikkor 18-55 VR

A special jury, made up by a professional photographer and different Ducati staff members, will also select a project which "is able to interpret the soul of the Multistrada 1200".

That selected work will enter the contest to take part as official photo-reporter at WDW2010, which will be held at Misano, San Marino on June 10-13. The prize includes a Nikon D300S + Nikkor 18-200 VR II NEW, a free pass for WDW and living expenses for four days.
