2010 KTM Ride 4 Kids charity event - Motorbikes Reviews, News & Advice

The annual KTM Ride 4 Kids Motocross event will be held at the State Motorcycling Sports Complex in Broadford (Vic) on August 29.

The event raises vital funds for Challenge, an organisation which gives children with cancer the best possible chance to nail every turn on their road to recovery.

The three riders who raise the most money for Challenge in each of the combined motorcycle classes will be rewarded with some great prizes, and the overall highest fundraiser will win a 2011 KTM 350SX-F thanks to KTM Australia.

Continuous riding sessions will take place throughout the day, starting from 50cc juniors right through to novice all-powers and the open class big-bores. All sessions are an open practice format and not a race,

There will also be raffles, barbecues and heaps of great prizes to be won, not to mention guest appearances on the track by some of Australia's best pro riders.

The entry fee is $50 for pre-event registration and $55 on the day, with funds going directly to Challenge. You can also register to ride in both motocross and enduro disciplines for $80 per class and all entries are fully tax deductible.

And you can help Challenge further by getting your friends and family to sponsor you to ride on the day. You can do this by asking friends for a donation and recording it on your sponsor sheet or by setting up an online fundraising page.

Riders do not need a competition/race license to participate on the day, as a non-competition license can be purchased on the day for $20.
