In 2008, the sales and service managers from the Melbourne-based Select Scootas, as well as a mate and a dog, made a return trip from Melbourne to Cameron's Corner on SYM CityCom300i scooters.
Cameron's Corner is the joint Northern Territory, New South Wales and Queensland border, so it was certainly no stroll to the shops for milk and iced vo-vo's. In total, 3200km (1150km on dirt) was covered in six days.
So enamoured with the epic, the lads are doing it again - and this time inviting someone from the public to join them!
All you have to do is send an email to Tim Black (timblack@scoota.com.au) explaining why you're up for the challenge and what you can bring to the ride (you must be available mid-August).
Select will supply the scooter, and you must be fully licensed and happy to write an article about the experience.
And you won't know what scooter you're riding until a few weeks before.

Entries close in mid-July.
