Festooned with carbon fibre, the newest 'Factory' model from Aprilia cuts a very sharp figure

Aprilia showed off its new 2010 Shiver 750 at the EICMA bike show in Milan, but there was another 750 twin in the Italian marque's line-up – the Dorsoduro Factory.

As the name suggests it's a higher performance version of the Dorsoduro. Like the Shiver 750, it'll get Aprilia's new-generation fly-by-wire throttle system which should improve the bike's bottom ende punch.

The chassis has been given a giddy-up too, while there's a fully adjustable Sachs rear shock. The forks have been upgraded for more adjustability too.

Aprilia has stuck trick Brembo four-pot radial mount calipers to the front-end, complete with ultra-trendy disc brake designs.

The V-twin 750cc engine remains untouched, outputting the same 92hp as previously, but the bike does get a carbon front mudguard and tank section, in concert with other carbon-clad 'Factory' models from Aprilia.
