Custom cruiser to visit 35 dealers over six weeks
BMW has the
Planet Power Tour
to promote its new S 1000 RR, and now Honda is following suit with a similar travelling extravaganza to showcase its
VT1300CX Fury chopper
, due to go on sale in December for $19,990.
Honda Australia has jus released dates for the "
Fury Blast Off Tour
", which will make stopovers at 35 urban and regional dealers across Qld, NSW, Vic, SA and WA over six weeks, allowing potential customers to put this revolutionary new bike through its paces on local streets.
Interested riders need only go to the website to find their nearest participating dealer, and then call them to book in.
Honda's 'wild side' has raked-out steering, a massive wheelbase, a low seat height, a long and low fuel tank, and a single-shock rear suspension hidden beneath a hard-tail look.
It's powered by the fuel injected 1312ccc V-twin out of the existing VT1300, but with an updated exhaust and new camshafts.
