Part of Suzuki's LAMS line-up

The 2009 Suzuki Burgman 400A has landed in Australia, featuring ABS for the first time.

The fuel-injected maxi scoot also has Suzuki's Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system to reduce emissions, and a 13.5lt fuel tank for long-haul travel.

The Burgman, which has a massive 62-litre underseat storage area, is part of Suzuki's Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) range. LAMS is now up and running in NSW, Vic, SA, the ACT, Tas, NT and Qld.

Available in black livery, the Burgman is backed by a two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

For further information and pricing details on the 2009 Suzuki Burgman 400A, contact your local Suzuki dealer (here).

Meanwhile, Suzuki Australia has confirmed that the new luxury Burgman 400, featuring heated grips, large hand guards, a passenger backrest, a wood patterned instrument panel, titanium coloured wheels and a smart new brown seat, will not be coming Down Under.
