Italian naked gets more grunt

MV Agusta is launching tow new variants on the Brutale this year, the first being a 910 in livery adopted from the Hydrogen sports clothing company. Only 100 of this model (pictured in white) are being made and the first stocks are expected to arrive in mid-March.

More exciting news for the horsepower hounds is a new version of the naked bike with the 1078cc F4 engine in the frame, called the 1078RR (pictured in red). It has been retuned for a claimed output of 154 horses, down on the sports bike but 15 up on the 910.

Several detail changes have been made to the chassis and the overall package claims to weigh in at 185 kilos.

The bike is expected here in mid-2008.
