Retro toy gets warm reception

Moto Guzzi's ultimate retro bike, the 750 V7, has received a warm reception on its recent European launch.
 
The 744cc 4-valve powerplant is in a mild state of tune, with 9.6:1 compression and claiming a modest 48 horses at 6800rpm. Torque is a claimed 54.7Nm at 3500rpm.

The five-speed machine weighs a claimed 182 kilos dry and carries 17 litres of fuel. We're told it's priced around 8000 Euros which equates to $13,000.
