Carbon-fibre swingarm and frame

November 20, 2008

Who wants to see Bimota racing in the Superbike World Championship again?

We'd love to by the looks of this latest creation from the iconic Italian company - the DB7 Oro Nero featuring a groundbreaking carbon-fibre frame and swingarm.

Based on the standard DB7, the bike is powered by Ducati's 1098 engine, which has just been increased to 1198cc. Nevertheless, the vital statistics are still very impressive, with Bimota claiming 164hp in a machine that weighs just 164kg - a tasty 1:1 ratio.

The DB7 Oro Nero won't be cheap, and we'll keep you posted on likely availability in Australia.
