Yamaha has launched a new 1300 cruiser under the familiar XVS designation

The machine claims an all-new powerplant and chassis, with the former displacing 1304cc from its liquid-cooled and fuel injected powerplant. The 60-degree twin runs four valves per pot, with roller rocker arms and dual crankshaft balancers.

A lot of effort has gone into hiding the liquid cooling to give the machine a more 'traditional' look.

Yamaha says the chassis places 48 per cent of the weight over the front tyre.

It comes in black, blue or red at a recommended price of $16,499 plus ORC and, if you have some spare cash, there's an extensive range of accessories.
