Middleweights are now lighter on the wallet

Hyosung Australia has sharpened the pricing on its quartet of 650 V-twins, with some significant add-ons or price re-alignments.

The half-faired GT650S Tourer ($8990 plus ORC) is now replete with all the gear to make it a long-distance titan: touring screen, throw-over saddlebags, luggage rack, tank-top bag and heated handgrips - nearly $1000-worth of accessories.

Meanwhile, pricing on the other three models has been reduced: $7990 (plus ORC) for the GT650 naked (down $1000); $8990 (plus ORC) for the fully faired GT650R (down $400); and $8990 (plus ORC) for the GV650 Aquila cruiser (down $1000).

All the 650s are also available in Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) configuration.

"The brand has undergone a massive reorganisation in recent months," said Hyosung Australia's Dealer Manager John Byrne. "And we've managed to find some savings, which, of course, we're passing on."

In addition to the 650s, the seven-bike Hyosung motorcycle range is completed by the GT250 ($5590 plus ORC), GT250R ($6690 plus ORC), and GV250 Aquila ($5990 plus ORC).
Hyosung is based in South Korea, has been building motorcycles since the late 1970s and currently exports to over 60 countries.
