Bigger, faster Multistrada
Ducati has released a bigger and punchier version of its Multistrada in Europe, using an 1100 version of its air-cooled desmo twin.
The machine is offered in two levels of trim and claims a healthy 95 horses at 7700rpm, combined with 10.5kg-m of torque at a low 4750.
The company has injected a more robust wet clutch, vibration isolators for the handlebars and says it has a new maintenance program which reduces costs by 50 per cent.
The chassis is much the same as before, using the familiar trellis frame with Marzocchi front end and Sachs rear.
The S version of the bike claims more horsepower and boasts assorted carbon-fibre panels. See
