Ducati's base model Monster, the 620, has been replaced with a 695 version.
The company claims the increase in capacity brings with it an increase in power and torque, compared to the 620, a power increases from 63hp to 73hp and torque increase from 5.7kg to 6.2kg-m.

It also features an APTC slipper type clutch which offers ultra light clutch lever movement and anti-skip benefits when down shifting, a real benefit for less inexperienced riders.

Additionally the seat height is set at 770mm, claiming the most approachable seat height in its market segment.

Ducati says it has 20 per cent lower scheduled service costs, due to new 12,000 km service intervals as opposed to the current 10,000km. Price is $12,995 plus ORC.
